Here’s something I wrote in a letter to R.’s cousin about what we’ve been doing.

We haven’t been up to much, but like it that way now. He has been working on another antenna, called a loop antenna, trying to get it configured right for the signals. This has involved positioning the wireline with counterweights at three points from the house using oak trees. And one white pine. Dragging the ladder, climbing up, screwing in eye-hooks. And it has been very windy and brisk. Sometimes I help but sometimes just get in the way with suggestions that don’t work. With me as Gopher, we work better together on the way he thinks it might work …. And it does.
